Saturday we drove down to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL for the 40th Anniversary concert of "The Other Guys." The Other Guys are an a capella comedy octet that is steeped in tradition for 40 years at the University. I was in the group when I was a student back in 1989. Being part of that group was probably the most formative and influential year of my life, working hard to perfect our vocals and funny choreography, and performing dozens of times each semester as representatives of the University. All while trying to keep my grades up in engineering.

This year's reunion concert brought back nearly 90 former members of the group from the past four decades. After a day full of revelry, practicing and reliving old memories, we performed in concert together at Foellinger Auditorium on Saturday night. This is a shot from the stage just after the show was over.

Weird. We were in Champaign this weekend too, and we happened to run into our old group (No Strings) performing in the Union on Saturday. Good times.

Awsome shot - love the crispness of the mike contrasted to the dispersing audience!

Nice shot. Love your website!

Also loved watching your time lapse of the Marathon. Brilliant!

Hopefully we can see you around the new year again :)
