Long time, No Post = Mike's been busy!
I'm trying desperately to get back into blogland here so thanks for being patient. Been shooting quite a few projects here and there so I need to find time to post.

This one is quite different, as you'll see. My friend Jerry, who works in advertising, needed a product shot of a grotesque cheeseburger. We set up a tabletop here at the house, set up some lights, flags and reflectors and had a little photo session. The most difficult thing was "dressing and styling" the burger. He was going to hire a food stylist but decided to do it himself. I think the results came out pretty well. No, we didn't end up eating this monstrosity. You wouldn't want to with the strange juices and oils we painted onto this thing to make it look appetizing. So ends my first foray into food photography!

That is truly a monstrosity! haha. Very good job though. I've heard food is very difficult to photograph well. You did an excellent job.
