The Chicago Air and Water Show was this weekend. On a whim, and thanks to a call from my friend Archie from Whateverland, we went up to the observatory at the John Hancock center to watch the show for an hour. Nothing like a high vantage point to capture a different view! I must add a Nikkor 400mm to my wish list for Christmas.

holy zoom, bigleague, great shot. i think its a bit of pilot's perspective... which of course is always the best perspective.
