Was in Washington D.C. this weekend for meetings. Instead of joining the group at a local nightclub after dinner (well, the real reason was that the club wouldn't let me in with my camera bag), I wandered around the monuments on the mall at night. It's one of my favorite things to do at night in Washington. I took this shot of the Washington Monument just as I packed it in for the evening, and it turns out that this is probably my favorite shot from that outing.

I love this; what an interesting perspective and interpretation of the monument. I love the frozen flags and the action of the silhouettes.
