Despite the fact that I have my studio equipment set up fairly often (in the kids' playroom!), I don't often get the chance to take portraits of them. This year I managed to do it when we were taking shots for our Christmas card. This is one of my favorite shots of my youngest, who was five years old at the time. He loves to dress up in a coat and tie. Once he even wore a second-hand tuxedo to school!

BTW, I love the new D3, but the D2X still has a wonderful place for shots like this!

Great shot, Mike, once again! Nice smile, nice light, great capture.

What a nice kid! Did his dad's old friend Lew B teach him how to tie that bow tie?

Fine portrait. I like the shine in his eyes
