Here's another shot from the factory in Gary Indiana. It's one of my favorites because it really conveys the scale of this place. How often do you get to walk into a space this large and empty? The dripping water, light moss on the floor, holes in the ground and icy patches really spiced up the experience. Other than that the structure seemed very solid and in fairly good shape.

That's my buddy Vince there on the right posing for the camera, and Archie from Whateverland over on the way left.

You can see the room from yesterday's shot straight ahead through the doors, right in the center of this shot. What a contrast in spaces!

This really is big. What are the planning to do with this space?

It is clearly abandoned and deteriorating, and my guess is that there's no desire or money there sufficient to wreck the place. The main buildings are so vast, it really leaves you speechless when you see it.
