We've gotten nearly a foot of snow in the past couple of days. I was tired of watching the kids use the small, makeshift sledding hill the backyard, so we went sledding on a real sledding hill this morning with some friends. The big, "grown-up" hill was very fast today, and the moguls that formed in it were quite a challenge to go over.

This is one of our friends taking the mogul head-on. Virtually every person I saw go over this particular spot separated from their sled for a couple of seconds!

IN OTHER NEWS... Archie from Whateverland organized a brunch for the Chicago Photobloggers at the MCA downtown. Archie took this shot of us just before we left. The group was small this time, but it was great getting reaquainted!!!

A great example of the joys of winter...especially for children.
