This is my last post from China for awhile. I'm of course back home now and still aglow from the experience of this trip. I hope to post a slideshow soon, and I will definitely be putting a book together. It was the trip of a lifetime. Thanks for your interest in it!

Actually, plenty has happened on the photography front since I returned. There has been an addition to the family, a few in-town adventures, and some photoshoots worth showing. Stay tuned and I will promise to post more frequently!

What better way to end the post series than with this shot! This "p-boy" is a little clay thingy that squirts when hot water is poured on it during a traditional Beijing tea ceremony. Yes, I did a touristy thing and joined my mom for a tea ceremony. This teahouse was located just outside of the buddhist temple in Beijing. They do a demo and tasting of all of their teas for you and you presumably buy some before you leave. The tea was amazing (I bought a suitcase full). My mom thought this part was hilarious.

I love this shot. Not only does it bring a smile to one's face but it tells such a great story - the table, the tea, the people, the colors. Great ending.

The expressions of your mom say it all (I am assuming it is your mom do correct me if I am wrong)
