I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm finally becoming unburied from helping to run a convention and various work projects, so I can hopefully return to regular posting now. This is a photo from this year's "Zoo Lights" festival at the Lincoln Park Zoo. We go there every year, and this time we went before it became bitterly cold. Basically, they decorate the place with lots of christmas lights and hang decorations everywhere. In the past the lights have been limited to those flat metal structures with screw-in bulbs that are pre-fab-looking. This year, they really went all-out and covered the trees in colored lights.

Inspires me to go check out the Zoo Lights in spite of the cold. I love the perspective of the lights and the city in the background.

Looks like an advanced neural network!
