Sorry it's been so long since my last post! No excuses other than busy-ness this time.

While walking around NYC last week, we went in and watched a mass dance audition taking place as part of a dance festival at the Waldorf Astoria. Groups of 50 or so young dancers would go out there and do a choreographed routine on the floor together. There must have been a dozen groups going out there one after another. You can tell by this point that they didn't really have the choreo figured out yet. Some of the other groups that I managed to shoot were much more "together" in their movement. Believe it or not, these here were all doing the same dance routine...

This totally reminds me of the Eric Prydz - "Call on Me" music video:

Great shot Mike!

Brilliant! Does this happen every time you walk into a room full of women? Do you offer training videos, Mike?

Wow! this is pretty awesome. Your mind seems to be really open to all kind of inspiration and your pictures are truly amazing. I've been admiring for a while now and I'm wondering the same as "AG". Do you offer training videos or at least tips and tricks?

There's something elaborate and expressive in the out-of-time nature that these dancers add collectively to your image, it's a powerful impression of iindividualism and motion.

This is really cool and mesmerizing and just wouldn't be anywhere as interesting as a crisp frozen action shot.

I like this. Very simple, but very well thought out. Captures the moment nicely. Your timing is excellent in many of your photos.
