Thanks for all the comments on the previous travel shots. My Mac desktop went kaput this weekend, and I felt like a pacing relative in the waiting room of a hospital while I awaited its fate at the Apple Store. Luckily, after they worked on it for a few days, the only problem was a power supply failure. Initially they were saying that it could be a complete logic board corruption, which was not making me happy since it was a $1500 repair! All is good, now, and thank goodness I have a very good backup system in place. But it has been somewhat difficult to get some good editing done over the past week.

Anyway, this is a close-up shot of a torso sculpture that is identical to this one, except that the pencils are replaced by gold RCA plugs. I am trying to find the name of the artist so that I can share it with you. Anyway, I had no idea that this alternative version existed, and I was fascinated to see this. I can only imagine the amount of work it took to do this.

Almost looks wave-like. Cool.

The amount of work was I'm sure incredible - as well as the expense, unless the artist got the starving artists discount!
