This is a shot of another apartment building/hotel complex in the financial district of Miami. This one houses the Conrad Hotel, as well as other offices and residences. Coming from the somewhat spoiled architecture world of Chicago, I really must say that I'm impressed with the architecture in Miami. Apartment buildings there are necessarily tall and wide, but they tend to distinguish themselves much better than the modern residence buildings do in Chicago.

Looking at it now, I may have oversharpened this image... let me know what you think. I may try to fix it later tonight.

The perspective is interesting on this one. But the tilt to it kind of makes me wonder where to look as I twist my head each way.

I really like this this and before reading your narrative I was actually admiring how you got all that great detail without looking over sharpened :)
