I took a quick trip to Miami, Florida this weekend to attend the American Bar Association mid-year meeting. I have not spent significant time in Miami before, so I took the time to explore the neighborhoods and beaches on Saturday. I'll be posting some shots from the trip this week. This is a shot of the famous Colony Hotel, one of many art-deco structures along the always-amusing Ocean Drive in the South Beach neighborhood. I'm most proud of this shot because it is hand-held. Despite the slow shutter speed, I managed to get it sharp enough. I was too lazy to carry my 10-lb tripod around on this trip.
