I am at a total loss for something to post today. I have a few shots in the works, but they are not ready. So here's one that I'm not thrilled with, but it's definitely something completely different. We were at an event at the Arlington Park Racetrack this summer, and I managed to snap this one of a winning horse just after the finish line. I have seen horseracing before, but I had no idea how fast they really move. I think I needed to cut the shutter speed by another 1/1000 to get a truly sharp shot here.

Years ago a photograph solved what experts had argued about for centuries. Yes, all four hoofs are at a point in time of the ground.

I think you should be happy with this shot. It came out well. Looks like it has a little noise or grain to it, but that's about it. I like it.
