I went with the kids to our favorite spot along the lake to launch model rockets, Cricket Hill, just before New Year's Eve a few weeks ago. Took this shot that reminded me of my Windows XP wallpaper. I did some curves adjustment here, clearly, to brighten up the colors. I'm trying to find something worthy of posting to celebrate the Chicago Bears going to the Super Bowl... more on that later.

Oh, this is a great scene and those colors make me yearn more and more for spring. It seems winter has finally arrived. Lovely work, Mike.

Funny, this bright colored field scene actually reminds me a bit of the Tellytubbies show. Are Dipsy and Po about to come over the hill? :)

Very nice shot Mike. The composition could have been better. If youhad included a little moe of the sky, it might hae worked better.
