I took the kids down to the outdoor rink downtown for some ice skating lessons this weekend. The kids had a blast, and my youngest was quite a trooper. He spent most of the lesson falling on his butt. I actually had to leave rinkside and go indoors because I was laughing so hard watching him out there. This actually isn't him; it's another kid having his lesson at the same time. After so many weeks of mild weather, it finally turned bitter cold this weekend.

A great image and a great moment you got here. I', hoping this weekend gives us some weather I can go out and shoot some good stuff in!

It certainly looks like winter now. I love what they use for the kids to maneuver around.

I'll tell you what, if we can't laugh at our kids, we're wasting their childhood moments. When they hit their teen years, they spend plenty of time laughing at us.

It's amazing how cold it can seem after being spoiled by warm weather.

Don't be to cruel to your son, because he'll remember it and 20 years from now he'll get back at you. I know this from experience :)

What are the stuffed animals for? Do they skate in and out of them? I bet it seems like a long way for the little guys.

:-) Ahh, another one of these great tender shots of yours. I particularly like this one! The toy animals in the row are just too cute and make an excellent composition on the ice! Really like this shot and this scene A LOT!!!!
