My in-laws have a wonderful collection of art in their Florida house. We spent some time there this weekend, and I was able to try capturing some of these objects. By far my favorite was a box covered with very tiny, exquisite glassine beading. The box itself was small, and the effect when encased in such colorful material made it really pop. Here is a macro shot of the top of the box. This is one of the few true macro shots that are in the collection here at MRB.

Brilliant shot. I love all the colours in this shot. If you had not mentioned that it wa really tiny I would have thought it to be much bigger, something like a wall hanging or a small rug

My first thought was that this was a book collection, and that you pieced together a kaleidescope of the wall. This is very exquisite! The detail is amazing.
