This is one of those shots that evokes, to me, drastically different impressions. This Saturday morning, I was asked to take some shots at a local kids' dance studio for use in a photo montage. This was in the middle of a jazz dancing class for little kids that were around five or six years old. The studio was small and had these very red walls. This was the teacher. It was very funny watching her teach these little ones and trying to keep their attention. By cropping out the kids, all of a sudden you have a very different mood, no?

Probably the most effective "post processing" tool used is cropping. There is a great difference between the two images.
