Shooting the moon was quite fun tonight, given the perfectly black skies over Hatteras. The only problem was that the wind was causing my tripod base to move a bit. As the moon became lower in the horizon, I was amazed at how fast it began to move. At about 2am I couldn't keep the moon in the viewfinder long enough to get a good long exposure.
