Nikon D2X

Aperture/Shutter Speed: F6.3 - 1/90 sec
Focal Length: 55 mm

Flash: None

A shot out of an upstairs window this morning. Sleet, snow and ice, 230 canceled flights, school closings and alerts from City Snow Command. It actually doesn't look that bad. The amazing thing is that it was nearly 70 degrees less than 48 hours ago!

Absolutely beautiful Mike.

Stunning... The center area can easily be imagined as a macro shot of ice crystals.

I've heard about all that snow and cold to the west of us, we'll just be getting rain and falling temps from the system.

This is beautiful, I love the contrast!! Do stay warm and safe!

Interesting...still not sure if I like it or not. The only problem I am having with this shot is that it looks 3D instead of flat
