Sorry for the long layoff! I took the opportunity to try and get the creative juices flowing again. There are lots of new things I have dreamed up.

This is a shot of my youngest from this weekend. He learned how to ride a bike... or I should say that he asserted that he already knew how, and he was correct. It amazes me how different the kids are from each other. With my oldest, here, I had to run around a school playlot all day holding her on her bike and letting go for short spells. This weekend, my son comes to me out of the blue and says "Hey dad, can you take these training wheels off?" Not wanting to give him any time to change his mind, I grabbed a wrench and loosened them. He proceeded to unscrew the bolts and take the wheels off by himself. Then we went to the sidewalk and I held him on his bike and started to run with him as he pedaled. After only a couple of steps, he says "Dad, you can let go now." "Are you sure?" "Ya. Just let go." So I did and off he went.

Classic picture! My oldest is very cautious and my youngest is the exact opposite.....I am always saying the same thing, how amazed I am by how different they are! I think that's a good thing though and it keeps us on our toes! Congrats to your son!

Nice shot. I love the fact that you sat down while taking this shot instead of taking it standing up, This gives the world from the perspective of the little guy. I guess he now needs a little bigger bike.
