I took a quick trip to Washington, D.C. on Saturday to attend a wedding. I had an hour or so to walk around the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and took this shot in their main foyer. What a huge place! There wasn't all that much photogenic about it, but there were a few shots that I am happy with.

By the way, MRB is being slowly taken over by spam... I may have to shut the comment fields down if I don't find a workable solution. If any of you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Sorry about the spam, I've only gotten a few but boy are they annoying!

What about those comment boxes where you have to type the string of letters before it will approve your comment (even though those are a bit annoying too) or where you have to "approve" it before it goes into the comment box!

Another great perspective shot, every time I see one with the wide angle you make me want this lense more and more........someday!

Sorry no help with spam, although i have found a recipe for it fried in batter, maybe i am getting confused, I have very much missed these crisp wide angle indoor shots. I like this long walk.

One of your best fisheye shots!! The colors are wonderful!!

So sorry about the spam. I wouldn't mind typing in a code like so many other blogs have us do.

Mike, I have been using Akismet for spam control. It was develped for wordpress, but it can work on pretty much all blogs. On my site, I haven't had a single spam get through since switching to my new format in June.

BTW, the image is really interesting. I like the mother and child.

Nice shot. I love the red color and the yellow walls. great! as for spam, yeah I hear you. I've been building my site from the ground up, and have slowly built into it a spam blocker. and if it detects too many from an IP, it blocks the IP completely. I'm sure it's been done before, but I get a kick out of building it. I want to make the commenting easy and instant (like here); no "type a code" or "wait till an admin approves it". so far it's working. Maybe you can see if the software you use has an IP blocker built in.
