Yesterday was so crazy at work that I actually completely forgot to post anything! Sorry about that. It was not only a busy day... the temperature here in Chicago dropped down to 34 degrees and there was quite a snowstorm in the morning! I heard on the radio that this was the third earliest snowfall and lowest temperature here in recorded history. Pretty wild.

Anyway, yesterday was my oldest's final cross-country race for the season, and I managed to get over to the park in time to watch it. This would have made a nice shot in the "Running" series last week if it had existed then! One of the neatest things is to see her enjoy running as much as I do. It is also fascinating how she has a nearly identical running form to mine, right down to the slight left turn of her left foot when she plants it and the way her hands hang.

Before I even knew she was yours, I was so proud!! ...just so happy to see a young one enjoying a healthy activity. I can imagine your pride!! You've set quite an example.
