There were several running/walking events taking place in Lincoln Park along the lakeshore this weekend. On Saturday morning, in particular, the American Cancer Society Walk was taking place at the same time as the Walk for ALS. There were tons of people on the lakefront paths. I tried to get a few miles of running in that morning, but I couldn't do it with the crowds. So I just took pictures instead. The weather was ominous, as you can see, and it rained very hard later that afternoon through the rest of the weekend.

Check out wvallen's Photomap Project on his website. It links to the location where this was shot on a global map. This one stretches his map a little!

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

Looks like you made better use of your time shooting than running. What a crowd!! I hope some of them keep up the walking daily after the event was over. It's great exercise.

I like peace more than this crowd.
