Capture Date/Time: August 20, 2006 15:19
Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/10 - 1/350 sec
Focal Length: 10.5 mm
ISO: 250
Flash: None

We spent last weekend up at Lake Beulah, Wisconsin, with dear friends at their co-40th birthday party. There were, of course, kids all over the place having a great time. Kids + Lake = another jumpshot. This one, unfortunately, got me soaking wet! The lens was quite dirty so it didn't turn out as clear as I would have liked, and the shutter speed was too slow, but it was fun to be somewhat spontaneous!

* News from MikesRightBrain and Gratuitous Self-Promotion: I was named a winner in this year's Photo Issue of TimeOut Chicago. Check it out here.

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

fun shot. We were up there last week, and it was too cold for swimming!

Another sweet perspective! I can't believe you get your camera soaked, I remember my very 1st digital point and shoot my daughter gave a bath and it didn't work anymore, lol.

Congrats on the winner in TimeOut Chicago, I love that shot!
