A picture of one of the few remaining buildings in the old Cabrini Green public housing development. There has been much gentrification in the area in the past few years, and despite this building looking like it is abandoned, there are actually residents still living here. The building and others are slated for demolition in the coming months, and new developments by the Chicago Housing Authority are scheduled to replace them. It is an innovative program that will hopefully improve conditions for its residents and for the neighborhood in general.

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

Another cool perspective. Love the blue blue sky as well! Crazy people are living there still....
