One of the more accompished surfers taking a break. I forget his name, but he was a ham. It is fascinating how different the ocean looks after it has been roiled by violent waves. I almost deleted this shot but looking at it now I'm quite pleased with it.

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

You should be very pleased with it, it's a fantastic catch. The water looks great and you've captured a cool surfer dude posing so well for the camera. If I were 15 years younger....

What are you standing on to take some of these pics?
Very wonderful indeed

it's like he's in a good mood for a nice pose. it's amazing how a vast ocean could belittle human figure. love the angle and the movement.

This guy looks the the typical buff tanned surfer guy. That water is unbelievably colored and textured. Amazing stuff here.

I know that photography captures an instant in time, but this shot really feels like the universe has stopped moving.

I probably shouldn't say 'yum' on a photo blog. that would be childish. :)
