As you can see from this one, the surfing on Waikiki was very crowded. The surfers constantly ran over each other. Those that surfed closest to shore were clearly "amateurs" compared to the veterans who surfed further out with the big waves. But these guys were just as fun to watch. Luckily, most of them used foam boogieboards as opposed to full surfboards.

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

Another perfect shot, geez were you in a helicopter or something, lol. Thta is the exact same beach where I learned to surf and yes I was in the amatuer crowd running everyone over but they gave me a big fat long board, that foam boogie board is a great idea!

nice globe shot of the water. That kid is sooo gonna get smacked. heh. Nice job, almost as if the surver is sideways (due to perspective).

Wonderful shot, but like Jeremi I wonder where you were when you shot this.

Mike, these "rounded" shots are really remarkable. You've created another world with this technique and subject matter.
