More from Hawaii. I was so impressed by the surfing there. These guys really knew what they were doing. I got to know a couple of them pretty well, and they were interested in the pictures I was taking and in having their pictures taken. Despite the fact that most of them spoke the local "Pigeon" dialect (a mixture of native Hawaiian and English slang) that I could barey understand, we were able to communicate!

** You may have noticed that the archived shots are mis-aligned with the old template. I am still in the long and tedious process of up-rezzing all 320 of the previous MRB shots. Once those are all done I'll be able to upgrade the entire site. Right now it's only the homepage that uses the new template. Thanks for your patience as I continue the upgrades to the site.

What an awesome shot! And at 38mm, you must have been right there pretty close! So awesome, what a fun opportunity for you!

This is "gnarly" on so many levels. Tubular, dude! Really though, I love all of the movement going on in this picture, with the subject frozen in the middle. love it, love it.

Nice shot. It's like he's using a bit of nitro there. I love the effects on the water when they cut through it. Great shot!

What action! I love the motion blur and the color. Looks like he's pasting another surfer who is behind the water.
