The annual Gay Pride parade was held yesterday right in our neighborhood here. We used to live right in the middle of it, but now we are removed by a few blocks. The parade has really changed over the years, and has grown from a smaller, party-like atmosphere with a few colorful costumes and floats to a huge procession of nearly 300 entries. Like so many things, it seems so commercial and political now. But I guess it is still the celebration that it is intended to be. Just a lot bigger now...

looks like a nice, big crowd. the different colors of the shirts coming together as one is such a awesome attraction. 7 eleven...the first thing i spotted in this image. they are everywhere, aren't they?
