Thanks so much, everyone, for all of the comments on last week's series, and on the 300th posting. I'm thrilled about that landmark, and as many of you know keeping up with a blog is not easy. I'm one month away from MRB's 1-year anniversary, and you can bet that I'll be jumping up and down when that day comes.

Anyway, we have been in North Carolina at our usual vacation place this week, and here is the first photo to be posted from this picturesque place. I have had a heck of a time finding a 'net connection, so sorry for the late posting. Unfortunately I need to come home early because of work commitments, but the past couple of days have been wonderful. This is a shot of Mrs. MikesRightBrain relaxing on the dock along the Intracoastal Waterway behind the house where we stay.

A wonderful shot. I think I need holidays... (sigh...)

Wow, we must have started our blogs around the same time. My 1 year anniversary is next month too! :D

And can I just start calling you the KING of Perspective? You always have the greatest perspectives! I just love everything about this shot!

Very nice shot. Grasping for words, I'd have to say it gives both a relaxing but youthful feeling. Makes me yearn for the Carolina coast myself.

I could do with a day of that let alone a week. More to the point Mrs Crackingshot needs a break from children, moving and looking after Me me me. This sums up summer (less the video camera) Its not my 365 until October I think.. Not sure how i am going to cover the blog as we move as yet we have no house at the other end to move into.

There is a very youthful feel to this one. Maybe I just associate laying down and looking up at the sky with bygone days. =)
