A view of the Pritzker Auditorium in Millennium Park. This is an amazing venue, and its stage backs up against the south-facing skyline of the city. The surface of the stage opening is covered in sheet metal in Frank O. Gehry's design, and the metal is lit dramatically with lights having gently shifting colors. It was a gigantic and uncomfortably large structure during its construction, but now that it is finally built and in use, I'm not sure that anyone has any complaints about it. It is quite magnificent.
