Nikon D2X

Focal Length: 20 mm
Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/2.8 - 1/6000 sec
ISO: 200
Flash: None

Here's a shot that's a bit different. We were arriving at Disneyworld the other day, here coming off of the monorail into the entrance to the main park. The play of scene was something I very much wanted to capture, but I ended up dialing the settings the wrong way in the rush and ended up with this strangely exposed shot. I meant to put this one up earlier but ended up needing to mess around with it longer than expected in PS.

I really like this...you done good, whatever it is that you did. The shadows are perfect, and although the sun is a bit bright, it's the sun! So it works!

Peter Pan and the shadow getting sewn back on to his feet spring to mind.

Good evening Mikes,
First , thx for posting in mistral.
I love this compo. I can see your aperture was at 2.8..maybe this is the result of the highlighted ground...Maybe it could have been less highlighted in a bigger aperture...maybe. But the result of the shadows is great..and I presume the souvenir of DisneyWorld is more important than a critic....Cheers.

great frame here. I really like the shadows and the overexposed walkway ahead of them. Good job getting the right exposure on such a sunny day!

wow, stunning colors. what have you done? i love it!

It is not just the shadows. It is also that everything is so very linear. I mean, look at all the lines in that picture.

Monorail track
Guardrails
Handrails
Bricks

All in contrast to the curvy shadows.
Cool

I like this! However, I think it might have been a more interesting shot if you took it from a lower perspective? Just a thought.
