Thanks for all of the comments on Friday's shot! Here is a variation and view of the Ferris Wheel from another angle. The black building is Lake Point Tower, which is apparently the tallest all-residence apartment building in the world. I thought about taking the seagulls out of the shot, but I left them in for no reason other than being too busy to work on this shot any more.

BTW, today is the first noteworthy link day for MikesRightBrain! Our Chicago NPR affiliate has posted an MRB shot. Check it out at www.wbez.org!

I think the seagulls give a perspective of size to this shot. I'd keep them in.

This is another cool shot. I didn't realize that building had any claim to fame.Congrats on the wbez thing, but I think I missed seeing your shot!

Think I missed the WBEZ shot or did not look in the right place. I love both ferris wheel pics.

Beautyful contrast. I like this photo.

Great angle, with the building in the back.

Fun! The colors are nice. The perspective make the ferris wheel and the building look very close together, like the people on the ride can wave to the people in the building.
