Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/8 - 2.0 sec

Flash: None

After a benefit dinner in NYC last week, a group of us went out for some late-night karaoke in Koreatown. We ended up at this funky place with this wild hallway. As late as it was, I managed to hold the camera against the wall steady enough to get a decent 2-second shot.

This is a sweet shot -- and all the more impressive for being handheld!

very sci-fi, great ghosting effect at a great spot, well taken! on a side note, at least for me your site has been very slow lately :(

Great speed in the photo.

Mike, this is a really nice one- I like it quite a lot. I always like those slow 1-2 sec shots. You did a very nice job in exposure and composition.

This turned out great, and that hallway is very cool. It would be a fun place to experiment with different kinds of shots. Lots of great angles and perspectives to be had, here.

I really like the art decoish feel to this, the way you captured the round pictures on the left side. Makes it seem like a you are aboard a 1930's luxury liner that is about to blast off into space.

This is indeed a "wild" image. I get the feeling like the images in the frames are more alive than the ghostlike figure. Very nice technically and artistically.

FYI: I have added an RSS feed. Thanks for the nudge to do so!
