Here's another view of Crown Fountain. That's me there in silhouette. The only reason I didn't call this one "Self-Portrait VIII" is because I didn't want people glancing at this to think that the grumpy face on the fountain was me. Anyway, I spent quite a bit of time post-processing this one. It is difficult to take a decent night shot of the fountain because it is so bright.

nice one, did you add the purple?

My favorite thing about this photo is the play between the red and yellow puddles on the gorund. really cool.

Hey Gary- I didn't add the purple, actually. The video screen on the fountain wall is extremely intense, and it lets off purple-ish tones most strongly, even when the video image is a wider spectrum. Also, the side walls of the "cube" do let off a purple light, and you can see a hint of that in this pic. Thanks for the comment!

Hi Mike.
I just read at the comments. And I see that the purple is natural. That's a great capture. I understand the face is yours..is it?.. The result of the purple is very good considering the short time exposure...
Good idea!

Is that a changing image? Another great night shot.

A nice follow up to the reflected version. I agree the play between the two predominant hues is great.

EW! That is a grumpy face! At first I thought it was Paul McCartney but now I'm thinking it's not. Good call on not naming it SPXVIII. I like how the water drops seperated down on the lower right.

brilliant shot, modern and sci-fi, very nice!

The silouette leaves room for the viewer to fanatsize about the person.

What a great night shot! They are the hardest to capture and you excelled here! Looking through the tumbnails, you don'tknow what to expect because it only shows a portion... so glad to comb through it all!

The foreground is just wild with that purple tint and the wet spots. I also love the face and the silhouette for scale. There's a eerie feel here.
