Took this one the other evening as I was walking through Millennium Park on my way home from a late meeting. I'm glad I had my camera with me. This is, of course, the famous Crown Fountain. I can't remember if I've said this before, but there's a now-famous quote in this city: "Try to describe the Crown Fountain to someone who hasn't seen it. It's virtually impossible." If you haven't seen it before, this picture may not help you comprehend it. But it does make appearances elsewhere on this site.

It is a rather hard thing to explain...and even though I know the fountain (I have it on my site also) this picture is confusing... what are those lines and blank spaces? Is this it reflected onto something??

It looks like it's reflected off the ground and turned upside down. It took me about 10 minutes to figure that out this morning. Nice shot.

Hi Mike.
Thx for sending me the picture concerning the all building of yesterday. I think this is a great architecture. When I told you your server was slow I mean it's very slow on comment page. The rest is ok.
Cheers.

This is a fountain? I wouldn't have guessed it. It looks like a piece of art done in Photoshop! It's stunning.

Yes Keith and john figured it out. No fair on my part for not explaining that I flipped this one upside down.... thanks for the comments and for being patient . I'm not sure why the server is slow on the comment page, but I see what you mean. Will troubleshoot that tonight.
