All of a sudden there are these huge, rusted cylinder sculptures around the city. They are actually pretty cool, in that they don't appear to have any real support system and simply look like a bunch of partial rusted rings that could roll over you at any time. This is one sitting in a brand new park just south of the Chicago River and east of Lake Shore Drive.

The distortion is perfect for this image. Nice use of the sculpture to frame the buildings. Do the sculptures have the wonderful, rich and warm rust color of Cor-Ten steel?

That's quite a hidden park back there, I wonder who Daley is trying to impress with these things. The shot has a nice fish-eye look, which is really nice.

Excellent work to have the buildings bending in harmony with the pipes. And cool a new park, what was there to allow it to be made open space?

Haha. A fitting title. I really like the circular lines with the distorted buildings from the fisheye lens.

whoa! cool effect. I like the harmony in this photo...that pipe ring is so in placed and the slight distortion of the buildings at the back makes it even more surreal. nice touch, mike. Very professional if you ask me, hehe! I'm starting to really adore these interesting architectural structures you're posting here. great. cheers!

Awesome and creative framing.

Very nice. I agree with above comments about the use of the distortion of the biuldings to mimic the scuplture

The world looks a whole lot different through a 10mm lens, pretty dam cool too. Maybe a fish eye will be my next purchase ;-)

Excellent :)
