Focal Length: 50 mm
Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/8 - 1/250 sec

A local elementary school cross-country run near Cricket Hill on the north side of the city. This was a well-attended race that ran up and down a huge hill along the lakefront. The kids had a great time. I'm convinced shutter speeds need to be even faster to capture kids as compared to capturing professional athletes!

They look like they're having a great time. - Funny comment about kids and shutter speed.

I agree about the shutter speed, a bit quciker might've been nice. Actually, I would suggest not speeding it up, but rather panning the camera. That way you get a blur on the background which give s anice sense of motion.

Nice seeing kids active outside the house oppose to playing w/their PlayStations or what not! They seem so determine to run...and win! This is nice!
