A view out the northwest side of the John Hancock Center observatory. I have taken many city shots out of that window, but for some reason I keep coming back to this one. Perhaps it's the repeating patterns and the meticulous placement of the buildings. It could also be the very bright sunlight and its huge shadows.

Though it's simple, it looks gr at. OK, it doesn't look that simple :). Reminds me of some views from SimCity pc game.

Chicago is an interesting place. I have visited there several times over the past couple of years and enjoy it every time. Great shots by the way.
