Did not take many shots this weekend other than the biking photographs from yesterday. But it was the Labor Day holiday, which here in the U.S. traditionally triggers the end of summer and beginning of fall. This particular summer seems to have gone by very quickly, and I searched for something to post from earlier this spring. Here's one where the kids and their cousins were picking dandelions in a large field in Northbrook. They are looking down a huge drainage grate and watching the dandelion heads fall into the pool of water at the bottom.

Once again Mike another great photo. I would say the innocence of it all but what about the poor Dandelions falling to their death ;-)

Heh, funny, I was so sure the kids were looking at a hamster or guinea pig or something animal-ish! Such a typical pose! Really nice!

Isn't it wonderful how kids can become totally focused on the smallest things? The way they are all huddled together is really a joy.

the thing with your photos is that the colors are enough to capture the right emotion. a play in the greens.
