Another shot from my trip to San Francisco. Not exactly sure what building this is, but it is off Market Street downtown. I spent a long time looking at the fine detail in the terra cotta on the cornices and around the windows. I love buildings like this that sit on a sharp street corner. We have many of these in Chicago; perhaps I will go around and collect shots of those someday.

That sounds like a good idea. I like these types of buildings too. In fact I shot one a few days ago in Albany. Not a great shot, but maybe I'll send it to you for your collection. Maybe you can publish a calendar or something!?

This reminds me of the Terminal Building in downtown Clevelan... but the facade of this building is much more colorful.

I Googled Flatiron, and got a few returns, this is one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatiron_Building and this one, which has your building Mike, and your shot is WAY better :)

Gosh, what a great perspective, and the fluttering flag is a lovely touch too; nicely done.

Hey, isn't the Flatiron building in New York? I think this one is more colorful.
