Our good friends and neighbors own a fruit orchard up in Michigan. We spent a day with them last year in late October celebrating the close of their harvest, and the kids had a great time jumping through leaves, bobbing for apples and (believe it or not) heaving rotten apples at a giant target. This is their little sprite, having some hot cocoa after a hayride in the pickup. The rapid loss of evening light lately has reminded me that fall is near...

Lovely image... and what a beautiful young lady. I would have preferred that the cup and jacket have been removed prior to the shot.
